I'm Back
It has been a while but I just decided to make this layout tonight. I hope you like it.
James just loves making messes. In fact, every time I try to "arrange" things he runs (crawls) over as fast as he can to unarrange them for me. And he always get such joy out of it. Especially pulling all the books and toys off the shelf in his room. Then when they are on the floor he sits in the middle and arranges the mess just to his liking and then leaves it to go pull things out of his drawers. He is so helpful.

Another Header?
You bet! What can I say? I am so cool that people are asking me to do these for them. Well, here it is. I did this for my SIL, Steph's, friend. I thought it turned out super cute if I do say so myself. Which I just did.
Which one do you like best? I know which one I like!

Mean Mommy & Daddy!
Aren't we so mean? I still feel bad when I get a picture of James when he is sad. I should totally be comforting him right? Well, I just wanted to get a picture of him sticking his little lip out. Oh well, I'm sure he will not hold it against me. Enjoy. Oh, and Crystal, I could really use your opinion. I'm not sure what I think of this one but Brian was so irritated at me while I was working on it that I just gave up and saved it like this.

Blog Headers
So I decided to share the headers that I have made for family and friends for thier blogs. Mostly so that I have something to post and since that is all I have really scrapped lately. I hope you can see them well enough. This is the header that I currently have on my blog although I may change it cuz the pictures here are from when James was 4 months old and he is almost 8 months old now. Stay tuned to see if I do or don't before we leave.
This one is the first one I made for my own family blog. It was great for a first try but as you can see James has changed so much that I was forced to make a new one.
This one is obviously at the top of this blog. I learned a lot of different things trying to create this header. And I was totally excited that I got to use "gilry" colors. It is my scrap blog after all.
This is the first blog header that I made for someone else. It was totally unsolicited and my SIL, Steph, was kind enough to use it anyway. Then she "commissioned" me to make her this...
This is the one that currently is on her blog. Hopefully it is to her liking. I also learned new things here that I didn't know before. Like how to use the eraser tool. Duh!
This one was a group effort made by me and Shelley McClellan. She is sudo family of mine and lives close to me. She is totally great and lets me impose upon her regularly. Hopefully, I can be half as nice as her when I grow up. Not likely.
And this is the one I made for my SIL Emily. I just love the colors. It was totally fun to make and I learned even more new tricks on this one. If you want to check out there blog's just click on their links on my personal blog and see how lovely they all look with thier coordinating backgrounds.
This is all for now but I have just received another request from a friend of my SIL, Steph, so I may be showing off more later. And I still have to make one for Slumgolian (my family's recipe blog). Any more requests? Hopefully I will get around to making one of James soon too!

James Goes To Church
So, I think I am finally finished with this layout. As Crystal has pointed out this is a long time in coming. I have been having scrappers block. I still have a bit but I am determined to get over it soon. Hopefully I will. But I hope you enjoy this layout as I worked very hard on it. I will try to have something else up sooner than later. Maybe even before I go to Utah. Maybe...

James First Easter Layouts
So here they are. I worked really hard on these. The second one I did twice cuz the first one just didn't feel right. I started over with a different template and am much happier with the results
I'm not quite sure about the curled edge photo in the corner of this one but it is there for now. What do y'all think?

Coming Home From the Hospital
So here are my two latest layouts. I think I am getting better at this. I have to say that when I have questions I always turn to my friend Crystal and she always knows just how to help me. She helped me lots with this one. I used her idea of duplicating layers for the stitches and a few other things and she also helped me figure out how to link those layers. I know this may seem easy to many of you but it wasn't for me. Anyway, enjoy these. I hope to make some more soon.

James Blessing Layouts
So here are my two latest layouts. They are of James' blessing. I think they turned out pretty okay. I am sure in a while I will look back at these early layouts and want to redo them but for now they look A-okay to me. I even used a stitch like my friend Crystal suggested I do. I will try to get more done this week. I want to do two pages a week and that way I will eventually catch up on James. I doubt I will ever have time to go back before James but we will see. Let me know what you think.![]()
